Anna Shchapova is an artist from Yekaterinburg. Works with abstract images, the relief of the urban environment and human interaction with space.
In 2016, she graduated from the Ural Academy of Architecture and Art as an architect, which is reflected in her works and allows her to use architectural and landscape images, structuring the space created by the artist. A space that invites you to immerse yourself in the plots and stories that are created in it, spontaneously appearing and not always noticeable, leaving freedom for interpretation. In 2022, Anna completed a course of study in contemporary art in the Laboratory of a young artist at the NCCA of Yekaterinburg. This experience also affected creativity and added experiments with materials and themes.
The main techniques of the artist are painting, graphics and collage, and the way of expressing ideas is abstraction, which allows you to create unique images and new worlds that open up in their own way for each viewer.
Anna's works are in private collections in Russia, Europe and the USA.
